Eight Outstanding Performers to Sing the National Anthem at the National Finals Rodeo

LAS VEGAS – Las Vegas Events, in partnership with the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, announced today the list of eight outstanding performers scheduled to sing the national anthem at the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas. The Wrangler NFR will kick off on Thursday, Dec. 7 and run through Saturday, Dec. 16 at the Thomas & Mack Center.

The eight confirmed national anthem performers are:

Thursday, Dec. 7 – Terry Fator (also performing at New York-New York Hotel & Casino)
Friday, Dec. 8 – Zach Top
Saturday, Dec. 9 – Mae Estes
Sunday, Dec. 10 – Casey Kearney
Monday, Dec. 11 – Annie Bosko
Tuesday, Dec. 12 – *Contest winner will perform (TBD)
Wednesday, Dec. 13 – Jenna Paulette
Thursday, Dec. 14 – Old Hickory; Lynnae Meyers (Canadian Anthem)
Friday, Dec. 15 – *Contest winner will perform (TBD)
Saturday, Dec. 16 – Kameron Marlowe

“We are proud to announce this impressive list of national anthem performers at the 2023 Wrangler NFR,” said Bo Gardner, vice president of corporate marketing at Las Vegas Events. “All anthem performances are sponsored by our partners at the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation. We’re appreciative of this partnership and their work to secure this group of entertainers.”

Two additional performers will be added to the list above, awarded to the winners of the NFR National Anthem Contest. The contest launched today with all entries to be submitted by Wednesday, Aug. 23. From there, an initial fan vote will narrow the list to the Top 30 and a panel of judges will further narrow the list to the Top 8 for open voting. From Wednesday, Sept. 27 through Thursday, Oct. 5, fans will vote on their selection of choice among the final eight entries. Following the winner’s announcement on Friday, Oct. 6, the top 2 vote recipients will be selected to perform in Las Vegas.

Known as the richest and most prestigious rodeo in the world, the Wrangler NFR attracts the top 15 contestants in bareback riding, steer wrestling, team roping, saddle bronc riding, tie-down roping, barrel racing and bull riding to compete for a share of the increased purse and the coveted PRCA Gold Buckle. In 2022, the event had a total attendance of 173,350 over the 10 days of competition at the Thomas & Mack Center and has sold out more than 350 consecutive performances in Las Vegas.
